Greatest Commandment
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Matthew 22:36-40
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Romans 3:20 — The Law exposes sin; it makes you conscious of sin.
Hebrews 10:2 — The Sacrifice of Jesus removes sin and gives you no more consciousness of sin.
Under the Law → Sin-consciousness
Under Grace → Righteousness-consciousness
We do not work for salvation. It is a gift completely paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. When we (believers) get to heaven at the Bema seat, we will be judged for rewards and for the good works we did after we got saved 1 Corinthians 3:15. And the body of Christ receives our doctrine for this age of grace from Romans-Philemon. You need to rightly divide the word of God. You cannot follow Christ through His earthly ministry, because you’re likely not a Jew. We follows Christ through Paul and receive our doctrine from Roman’s-Philemon. Jesus only came for the Jews Matthew 10:5-6. Israel had a specific program of salvation, and yes it included works.
no one man walks in this world or will ever be except Jesus can love the Lord with ALL heart, ALL mind and ALL soul. That’s why when you believe in Christ, you will be in Christ and Christ lives in you then you are already done the greatest commandment of them all.
1 Corinthians 16:14 (NIV)
[14] Do everything in love.
1 Timothy 1:9 the law is not made for a righteous man. This verse emphasizes that the law is intended for those who are lawless, disobedient, ungodly, and sinful, rather than for those who are rightous. The full vers reads: knowing this, that the law is not made for a rightous man, but for the lawless, and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for unholy and profane.
