20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

4. Corporate or Group Fast
- Example: The people of Nineveh fasted together in repentance.
(Jonah 3:5–10) - Description: A community, nation, or group fasting together.
- Purpose: Collective repentance or seeking God’s mercy.
5. Private or Personal Fast
- Example: Jesus taught to fast privately before God.
(Matthew 6:16–18) - Description: Done in secret between a person and God.
- Purpose: Personal devotion, repentance, and humility.
6. Regular or Habitual Fast
- Example: The Pharisee said, “I fast twice a week.”
(Luke 18:12) - Description: A regular practice of fasting (though not for show).
- Purpose: Discipline and consistent focus on God.
7. Supernatural Fast
- Example: Moses fasted forty days and nights without food or water.
(Deuteronomy 9:9) - Description: Miraculously sustained by God.
- Purpose: Receiving divine revelation or covenant.
